When you start chatting with more customers, you will notice that oftentimes questions and inquiries can be repetitive. To save time and provide excellent service, use our canned answers feature. You will be able to add and manage your frequently used messages as well as custom greetings and good-byes. When you start typing your frequently used messages in the chat window, they will automatically appear above. Press on the desired message and the system will automatically populate the rest for you.
You can add, manage, and delete your canned answers on both mobile and desktop versions.
On the desktop version:
Press on the following icon:
Then, press on Manage. You are now able to add, edit, or remove your canned answers. Remember, you can group your canned answers by topic as well. This way, it will be easier for you to locate them when needed.
On the mobile app:
Go to the ibbü app on your phone ⇾ Profile ⇾ Manage canned answers
Now you can add, edit, or remove your canned answers. You will also be able to switch the canned answers feature on or off. To do so, go to Profile and switch the canned answers toggle.
We recommend that you create canned answers to help you at each of the following steps of the conversation:
- Personalized introduction. Example: Hi there! My name is Eric and I am an independent product expert. How can I help you today?
- Thank you! Example: It was a pleasure chatting with you today!
- Goodbye! Example: Have a good rest of your day and don't hesitate to come back if you need assistance with your purchase!
- Please take some time to take the customer satisfaction survey. Example: Please stick around after the chat to take a brief customer satisfaction survey. I would really appreciate it!
